well when you have 10 inches of travel the bb needs to be higher than the amount of travel plus a few to keep from casing the bike |

i have since gone to chromoly tubing instead of aluminum however it never did break |

i used to have a similar style bike when i was 15 they were called cyclocross with real narrow comp3s they were 27x1 and mini crui bmx bars that was the beginings of the evoloution of mtb's |
